Lawrence provides leadership for the overall corporate strategy and growth development efforts to support the needs of Cognicom’s full customer set.

Lawrence began supporting Cognicom in June 2022 after Cubic Corporation where he was a growth and strategy Vice President in Cubic’s Mission Solutions business unit. Prior to his role at Cubic, Lawrence has held multiple executive leadership positions. At Maxar (DigitalGlobe), Lawrence was the Vice President for US Government Growth and Strategy. At L3Harris, he served as General Manager and site lead opening and managing the L3Harris Tampa location centralizing three large divisions’ efforts in one customer centric location. Additionally, after his military retirement, he served as ISR Director and Senior Intelligence Professional with Special Operations Command, serving the needs of Special Operations Community and Joint Special Operations Command as lead, SOF tactics, techniques and systems as well as his position as the ISR Tactical Coordinator.  In addition to his industry experience, Lawrence proudly served his country in various operational, joint, and tactical assignments though his highly decorated United States Marine Corps career, providing him with broad experience within this customer community.

Lawrence is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, the National Defense Industrial Association, Defense Technology Forum and the Marine Corps Intelligence Association. Lawrence is also a chosen member of the Business Executives for National Security.  He is also a servant of the local community through multiple charity programs.

Lawrence serves as a member of the Digital Marketing Advisory Board for the University of South Florida’s business and marketing school. Lawrence lives in Tampa and is co-located with two major US Combatant Commands (USSOCOM and USCENTCOM).
